PROPHET MESSENGER OF THE EARTH TODAY

Kacou Philippe was born in December 1972 in Katadji in the department of Sikensi (Ivory Coast). He is the son of an illiterate farmer. After elementary school, Kacou Philippe only attended the first four grades of high school. From 1992 until 2002, he spent most of his time as a laborer on construction sites.

FIRST STEPS IN CHRISTIANITY

It all started with a vision he had on April 24, 1993. First, he went to a Catholic priest to understand the meaning of the vision. Then, he went to the Baptists with whom he spent three months and then he met the movement of William Branham, an American evangelist. It is with this movement that he remains as a simple faithful from 1993 until 2002.

BEGINNING OF THE MINISTRY

Kacou Philippe began his public preaching in July 2002, after a second visitation from the angel he had in 1993. Kacou Philippe claims to be the prophet-messenger of the midnight cry, according to Matthew 25:6.

For Kacou Philippe, all the churches serve the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. He reports several times another vision that he had in 1993 and in which he said he had seen the church leaders in strange forms: "Their bodies were the bodies of men but their heads were the heads of different animals. Then the first debates and confrontations began.

Kacou Philippe preached several mysteries, such as: "If God destroyed all evil in the flood at the time of Noah, how did evil end up still on the earth after the flood? And the said preaching is fully published by a Cameroonian newspaper. Kacou Philippe declares that his words have the same value as the words of the prophets of the Bible.

BAPTISM ACCORDING TO KACOU PHILIPPE

For Kacou Philippe, the Church begins with John the Baptist and it is the baptism of repentance. Then comes the baptism of the remission of sins with the apostles, then the baptism of justification by faith with Martin Luther, then the baptism of the rebirth of the Church after the first Roman persecutions, then the baptism of adoption, then the baptism of sanctification with John Wesley, then the baptism of regeneration with Pentecostalism, then the baptism of restoration with William Branham, and finally the baptism of restitution with Kacou Philippe. And he says that apart from that, any other baptism is false, even if it is done in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit by immersion.

KACOU PHILIPPE AND CHRISTIANITY

Kacou Philippe sees the Bible as the rear view mirror of a car or a history book. For him, the Bible is a vestige of Christian and Judaic prehistory and can in no way give eternal life. He burns all the Bible versions that he finds dangerous for the faith, such as Tob, King James, Thompson, Scofield and Louis Segond. Kacou Philippe redefines what the Word of God is, making the difference between the Word of God (the revealed truths) and theology (the knowledge acquired by means of the intelligence). He redefined the divinity of Jesus Christ, the confession of sins that must be public, the place of women in the Church, water baptism, the Holy Spirit, the prophet, the Bible, the relationship between Church and State and many other aspects of Christianity. About this, he refuses to appear at a convocation of the General Information of Ivory Coast. He redefines all Christianity in a work called Le livre du prophète Kacou Philippe, published in three volumes by Éditions Édilivre in France. In March 2008, Kacou Philippe gathered the entire religious body as well as journalists and civil society in a conference on Christianity. It is the trial against the churches. A newspaper described him as the maestro of the Word of God. After this conference, another newspaper published the headline: "A prophet undresses the men of God" . Like William Branham, Kacou Philippe reports a supernatural presence that he attributes to the angel of April 24, 1993.

In 2008, Kacou Philippe's preaching began to be translated into other languages. Newspapers broadcast his preaching in its entirety; even outside of the Ivory Coast. A Cameroonian newspaper has a co-headline: Kacou Philippe, a prophet who has come to reform Christianity. On the media such as Africa n° 1, debates opened up. Some people replied in a veiled manner, while others did so in an open and violent manner. Still others go further, taking up Kacou Philippe's doctrines one by one to better neutralize them.

On May 13, 2016, Prophet Kacou Philippe was arrested at his home by Ivorian authorities for defiance of state authority, incitement to religious hatred and religious radicalism. He spent four days and four nights sitting on a chair in the offices of the General Intelligence of the Ivory Coast. Then, he will spend two days and two nights in the basement of the police headquarters in Abidjan and three months in the large prison in Abidjan before being released on the night of August 16, 2016 with deprivation of his civil rights, including a ban on preaching the Gospel for five years. The Togolese and Cameroonian press had described the trial as ambiguous. Later, Ivorian religious leaders acknowledged that they had been behind his arrest and imprisonment.
